I can't concentrate on anything I am supposed to be doing today. I want to go meet Amy and just be there for her, but I can't because her mother hates me.
I talked to Amy over an hour ago and she was on her way to the hospital (she lives about two hours away from it and so do I, its actually between us) and her brother was out of surgery but not awake yet.

My meeting went well this morning. The head of the honors college thought I still had to start it so he was freaking out while trying to find someone to help me. He was thrilled to learn that the damn thing was done and all I had to do was submit it. So he said the rest of my thesis committee could read it and if they didn't see any thing major that needed to be changed, I could get the thing bound, turned into the library, and be done with it. The catch is that this guy wants to read it. So I'm curious to hear what he has to say. Beyond that, it was productive.

Got my flu shot today.

Went to the new apartment, it still needs to be cleaned, but all in all, it looked fine for the box that it is.

I need to get back to trying to concentrate.
