i went to the library tonight on my way home from work to do some research. i called amy on my way to the library, she didn't answer, i figured she went to tan or something. so i finished up at the library and called amy again, she picked up this time and was sobbing. she had just found out (when I was calling her the first time) that her grandfather died. this was the grandfather who was nice to her so she's heartbroken. so instead of reiterating my disdain for not being able to be there for her (that I spouted about for weeks last semester), i'll just leave that up to your imagination. she apparently has also been freaking out about "us" and hasn't been telling me which is why there has been so much tension between us lately. so i did the good girlfriend thing and reassured her as best as i could. this is just crap. can we just be okay, can't everything just be "normal" for a little while...
