I stole this from one of Jessica's new ladies, Beki:
1: Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, find line 4. Write down what it says:
"nature resolves everything into its component atoms and never reduces anything to nothing."
2: Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first?
my cell phone, I always seem to be available...
3: What is the last thing you watched on TV?
Gilmore Girls, two weeks ago...
4: WITHOUT LOOKING, guess what time it is:
10:30 p.m.
5: Now look at the clock; what is the actual time?
10:39 p.m.
6: With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?
my air conditioner
7: When did you last step outside? What were you doing?
about half an hour ago and i was walking from my car, up the stairs to my apartment after a long evening in the lab
8: Before you came to this website, what did you look at?
Jessica's email, she wants me to get to know some of the ladies she is interested in and since we can't talk on the phone much right now (while she is in Australia) she thought that would be the next best thing
9: What are you wearing?
blue jeans and a white tank top
10: Did you dream last night?
no
11: When did you last laugh?
this afternoon at a birthday party for twin five year olds
12: What is on the walls of the room you are in?
photographs of my family and a 'rosie the rivetor' tin poster
13: Seen anything weird lately?
a hydrogen torch melting two quartz glass tubes together with a red residue, the red is bad, its supposed glow white when we melt them together, we don't know what is causing the red....
14: What do you think of this quiz?
More importantly, what does it say about me...
15: What is the last film you saw?
what classifies as a film... i rented movies from the library so it would have to be Dirty Dancing
16: If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first?
I would pay off any debt my family has and make sure they are all comfortable. I would then make sure I would having money for my next two degrees... then I would buy a medium-sized house with lots of windows, a large yard, a porch, and at least one room with built-in bookshelves...
17: Tell me something about you that I don't know:
I am scared to death that I won't be able to 'hack' grad school
18: If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?
Which world? Mine or everyone else's?
19: Do you like to dance?
NO.
20: George Bush: is he a power-crazy nutcase or some one who is finally doing something that has needed to be done for years?
power-crazy asshole who needs to work on his public speaking skills...
21: Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?
The first thought was Josephine to be called Jo, but my cousin Andi took that name because she had a daughter first... So now maybe James...
22: Imagine your first child is a boy, what do you call him?
Henry
