Amy flew out to Chicago yesterday morning for a conference. Her brother is making improvements. He woke up and was able to process the commands of the doctors (i.e. dr. says "wiggle your toes" and he does), he is able to move his head a bit, and he is regaining movement on his right side. This information was the first good news the family has received since the incident. There is still a shred of hope that he'll wake up the same old B. However, he's battling pneumonia right now which he came down with a day or two ago.
