I just got home from campus. I just spent the majority of the day freezing my butt off doing homework in the physics building. Now you may wonder why I was freezing... well, since its the weekend, the heat in the building wasn't turned on and it must have been in the fifties INSIDE the building. And yes, that is quite cold in my world.

As for the homework, spent over 8 hours on it today and was so very close to finishing it. I think this was the closest I've been to finishing an assignment for this professor since the beginning of the semester. I spent the first six hours running up and down the stairs in the building, I was working on the first floor and my professor's office is on the third floor. By the 7th hour, all of my computer programs were running, I just had to generate results and explain what they meant. Unfortunately, I ran out of time. It had to be submitted by midnight. I submitted about ten minutes ago. I should end up with a better than average grade so I guess I can be happy with that for now.

I can also be happy with the fact that I only have one more assignment to complete for this class before I'm finally done with it for good. I'm tired of beating my head against a wall for this professor. And guess what, I have him again next semester for a statistical physics or thermodynamics course. It is impossible to reach his level of perfection. He will always find something wrong with what you do, or if it does happen to be correct, he'll tell you that your way isn't efficient enough and start you from square one all over again. I know he's making me a better physicist, but damn, I deserve a break sometimes.

Okay, I need to let go of my dislike for this professor for tonight and unwind so I can go to bed. Let me see, its Sunday almost Monday, what is my plan for the week...

1) learn some C programming to complete next computational homework assignment by next Sunday - done
2) organize group study nights for my quantum final (which is next Tuesday or Wednesday, I'll have to check) - done
3) actually study quantum - in progress
4) study for the physics GRE
5) read researched articles
6) research more articles
7) create a database for articles I'm going to need again
8) study for the physics GRE
9) prepare to research meeting on Friday - postponed
10) convince Amy that I can take Thursday off of work and drive up Wednesday night to visit with her (stay Wednesday night, Thursday, and drive back to Tampa in time to make my research meeting) - done
11) start holiday shopping - done
12) study for the physics GRE
13) write holiday cards - done
14) get addresses for holiday cards - done
15) buy stamps - done
16) study for the physics GRE
17) mail holiday cards - done

I think thats enough for me for this week.
