I'm sitting in the physics computer lab at school trying to motivate myself to work on my computational physics homework. I hate this room though. I'm surrounded by white, concrete block walls... this room shuts you off from the outside world. Time flies here but you end up getting so involved in what you are working on that whole days could flash by. This is not to mention that you miss whole sunlight and weather changes outside. You could walk into the room on a beautiful bright morning and by the time you walk out of the room, its raining, dreary, and just plain nasty and dark outside which makes me think that the weather finds a way of matching my mood (after working on projects for hours). Maybe I just hate rooms with no windows. I wonder if the university installed a window in this room, would make all the majors much more pleasant people to be around?
