I miss seeing a sky filled with stars on a clear night like tonight. Even on crystal clear nights here there aren't nearly as many stars visible as I remember seeing at home. Nights like tonight make me miss living back home. I use to walk around the block at night with my face uplifted towards the sky the entire way. Now you would think that I would trip or at least stumble walking around like that, but I guess I did it so many times that I knew the walk and the layout by heart. I miss seeing stars fill the 'heavens' from horizon to horizon.

Lately, I've been missing a lot of the little things about living in a small town which makes me wonder if I should be looking harder at the grad school close to home...
