my thesis is turned in. it was due monday. i ran around like a chicken with my head cut off for four hours trying to finish up everything related to the damn thing. this professor waited until the day it was due to give me his last comments on it, which were that he didn't like the grammar i used in the first 10 pages or so (which had been edited at least 15 times and everyone else thought my grammar was fine) but that i would have to turn it in as is, because i didn't have time to change anything which was his fault. i had to run across campus to get the paper he had to sign saying i did the damn thing. then i had to run home and print out six copies of it (2 for the library, 1 for the honors college, 1 for the prof, 1 for the bookstore to bind for my parents, and 1 more for me) which took freakin forever. i then had to run back to campus and turn in the copies to the library and the honors college and the bookstore, all before work. i had to skip most of my morning classes to get all of that done which really sucked because its the last week of classes and i need to go to all of my lectures for the reviews.

oh well.

i spent time with xander and griffin's family tonight. i bumped into shawn, their mom, at my work on monday and i told her i could use some family time and she promptly invited me over for tonight. they are my family away from home. i love them all so much. its nice to be reminded of some of the simple things in life... family dinners, "horseplay", cuddling with kids, contemplating what to watch on television that will interest everyone...

it was a good night...
