i am so frustrated with hotmail, i haven't been able to access my email since this morning... i incessantly check my email so this is a great bother to me. i know that i have new emails waiting to be read in my hotmail account, i just can't access them, it is driving me nuts!

beyond that, i survived my quantum exam this morning. five questions, four of which were reasonable. the fifth question was asking something relating to a topic that we never touched. when i say never, i mean for the entire last two semesters i have been studying quantum with this professor. just because he is a lasers guy, he thinks that he can ask an 'atomic and molecular spectroscopy' question on our quantum final. yes, atomic and molecular spectroscopy does relate quite closely to some of the topics we covered in quantum but don't ask me a question about something that we haven't discussed for even five minutes in lecture. it isn't fair. when our exam is open book, open notes, and i cannot find a damn thing relating to that damn question in my resources it is not a valid question for a final exam. oh well, it is done, it is over... i can effectively avoid this professor for the rest of my graduate career.

i have almost finished packing for chicago... i have a few more things to stash away and then i'm done. i'm glad i got most of it done tonight, that way i won't have to stress over it tomorrow when i am cramming for my lasers final.
