amy's brother is making improvements. he was awake and moving a bit today. it took him awhile to recognize her when she visited though. the doctors are thinking that he has his long term memory but that he has lost his short term memory, he can't remember anything for last year or so. he doesn't know where he is or why he's there. he thinks he's still in high school. he doesn't know he's on a baseball scholarship for a university. amy doesn't think he'll recognize himself when he looks in the mirror because the doctors shaved half of his head and he's lost a ton of muscle mass. on a side note, the police arrested the guy who hit him a couple of days ago. this guy has a history of assalt and battery. the guy's dad is refusing to bail him out of jail this time.
