i've just spent the last seven hours stuck the physics lab that i love so much. i was able to finish 3.5 of 5 of the homework questions. within the professor's grading scale, that should give me a B. i can hope anyway.

i forgot to mention a bit of information that i learned yesterday. it turns out the the programming language (Matlab0) that i'm learning for my computational physics class is a completely pointless language to learn. it isn't marketable and will not lend any insight into learning more marketable programming languages. the professor decided to bring this to light yesterday, after 11 weeks of struggling with this crap that will never help me do anything beyond this class. at least when i struggle in my other courses, i know that its all information that i need to absorb and be able to recall for grad school and beyond. this crap is pointless, it just makes me hate the course that much more.
