amy stopped by this morning on her way out of town. she crawled into bed and woke me up. i really don't think there is a better way to wake up in the morning. laying around, being close, holding each other, and just talking has become a privilege instead of the given right of our relationship. at this point, i'm thankful for any time we get to spend together. and its amazing what spending a couple of hours with her does for my disposition.

i'm off to drink my coffee and get some reading done.
