i had an okay day at work. very meticulous, precision oriented stuff that makes a huge mess and takes tons of time. it came out okay by the time i finished though. the test will be to see what the prof thinks of my work tomorrow before we send it off to another university for testing...

i also talked to several people today that know how to put a smile on my face.

got a call from amy in the middle of the day (rather odd for her because she knows i'm at work), to ask me if i would run by the targets in town to see if i could find bowls to match the dinnerware she had just purchased. she bought everything for that pattern of dinnerware except the bowls which she couldn't find anywhere. she searched five different targets in jax. i searched three down here but to no avail. i want to know who has been going to all of the targets in florida and buying all the damn bowls for this ugly ass pattern that amy loves. everything else for the set is still available, just not the bowls... i'll search the internet tomorrow to see if i can find something on the manufacturers' website that will suffice...

went out to "country" tonight to hang out with a friend. had to stop by a target out there that said they had the bowls but by the time i got there, there weren't any. we ate sushi. god, i love sushi. its such a treat. too damn expensive to eat very often. she offered to go to a movie but i wasn't in the mood for a movie. was feeling mellow, so we just chatted for a bit before i headed home. the drive home was great. i got to watch heat lightining for the hour drive home while playing my music too loud and singing at the top of my lungs. now, i'm exhausted and desperately need to go to bed. i really don't want to sleep through my alarm, again, tomorrow would make the third day in a row...
