successfully weathered another storm... i'm glad that hurricane season is almost over. preparing for hurricane charley was kind of fun. prepping for frances was a little stressful. ivan gave us a scare before passing us by. now, the most recent, jeanne... it seems as though floridians are becoming pros at prepping for hurricanes and amateur meteorologists along the way. its expensive to prep for a storm though, i don't know how many more storms i will be able to afford prepping for... this is the second batch of food i've lost to a storm.

so zoe and i survived another storm, with only a brief lost of power this time.

i had a minor meltdown last week. the overwhelming amount of work piling on top of me finally got to me last week. i was in tears by thursday wondering if i am really cut out for grad school. the tears have subsided even if the work hasn't.

on top of radiator problems, flat tires (flat donuts), students with attitude, too much work, and another hurricane... i made a horrible discovery tonight... i have free cable. i can't stop watching. this is the whole reason i never ordered cable tv.

Meltdowns must be going around... I had one yesterday after two days without electricity. I'll have one again as soon as I get up the nerve to look at the checking account!
