so i should be back online sometime on thursday. i called the cable company this morning and a very chipper customer service man tried to help me, when he couldn't, he scheduled a work order for me. so i'll be stuck at home from 10 to 12 on thursday waiting...

i forgot to mention in my entry from last night that i start teaching this week as well. i have three two hour classes. one is on wednesday afternoon, one is thursday evening, and one is on friday afternoon. i will be teaching the lab course that is linked to the algebra based general physics one course. i have to learn remedial math now, so i'll be able to teach it. i was not given my teaching schedule until sunday afternoon and i was mildly frustrated by the fact that the prof waited so long to finish it... this is the same prof that took six months to read my thesis... i shouldn't have been surprised.

i probably should not be updating from a work computer. i just don't feel like working on my research right now. i only have 75 minutes left to kill before my class this afternoon.

i have not talked to amy yet today... i am hoping she took the day off to rest and try to get better...
