I just arrived back, about 45 minutes ago, from my trip to see Amy. I discovered a rather amusing thing about her on this trip, she snores. Now keep in mind, this is not the loud, bassy type of snore that rumbles the entire house, this was a low, audible, nasal breathing. Now you would think that after being together for some time, I would have noticed this little attribute sooner. I guess I always fell asleep before her, now I know that I should always be the one falling asleep first. The first night I was there this week, she almost drove me batty. She fell asleep first, so I'm just laying there, staring at the fan, trying to "syke" myself into sleeping and so I'm thinking "fall asleep now, fall asleep now, fall asleep now", then the snoring started, which forced my brain into thinking "ignore the snoring, ignore the snoring, ignore the snoring". This thought process, inevitably made the snoring louder in my brain. It took forever for me to finally fall asleep.

She got home after work the next day and asked me how I had slept and if she had snored... I just kind of laughed because I didn't have the heart to come out and tell her that she had kept me up for hours.

I guess its a good thing for us to live so far apart, I don't have to deal with this on a daily basis and I won't for a couple of years.
