i survived the weekend.
woke up yesterday in excruciating muscle/joint pain yesterday that progressively got worse. i use to pride myself on having a high pain tolerance but i was quite the wuss yesterday. my fever rose to 102.7 before i finally found a friend willing and able to come over and bring medicine. two alleve and a nap later, my fever finally broke. i spent the entire day in bed yesterday. a day i should have been working but couldn't.
woke up today still very sore and tender but not nearly as bad yesterday. still having a hard time moving around. another lost day of work.
have much to do and not enough time to do it all in. was not anticipating being sick for four to five days.
will have to continue taking the anti-inflammatory pain drugs and drinking lots of fluids until i start feeling normal again.
i start teacher training tomorrow.
amy meets her new class tomorrow. i hope this class is better than the class of devil-children she had last year. maybe i will send her a "good luck, i hope this school year is wonderful for you" present, if i can think of one...
