my students are required to write a conclusion paragraph if their experimental values do not agree with the "accepted" (or theoretical) values of the lab. here is a conclusion that i just graded:
"My values do not agree within experimental uncertainty due to this lab sucking. The actual lab class itself does not suck, but the way this particular lab was structured made it suck to the extreme max. Human error could have contributed to the error in the values, but I shall blame the outcome of the results on this sucky lab."
it made me laugh.
