I am a smoker (camel ultra lights) but I hate the smell of smoke so I only smoke outdoors.

I am a night owl but my favorite time of day is sunrise.

I am a native Floridian. I love it here and can’t imagine wanting to live anywhere else, even if we cannot count our votes properly and I may never agree with the politics.

I prefer to read or listen to the radio for news as opposed to watching tv.
I prefer diet soda to regular.
I prefer salty to sweet.
I prefer hot weather to cold.
I prefer southern sweet iced tea to any other tea.
I prefer jeans to shorts.
I prefer children to adults, they are more honest.
I prefer sandals to shoes.
I prefer glasses to contacts.
I prefer comfort to trends.
I prefer the Atlantic Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico.
I prefer books to tv.
I prefer quiet to noise.
I prefer home-cooked meals to eating out.
I prefer intelligent debates to idle prattle.
I prefer women to men.
I do believe in God.
I do overanalyze everything.
I do love cooking and baking, but rarely do either.
I do love golf.
I do love knowing as soon as I step foot on a golf course, the rest of the world fades away.
I do love reading.
I do love movies with happy endings.
I do have a life plan but know that things can change any day to alter that plan.
I do have a fiery temper.
I do love my job.
I do live in organized clutter both at home and at work.
I do have a plant named George, she is a Philodendron and she lives in the lab.
I do live with a cat named Zoe, she is a rescued tabby from hurricane Charley, who is as ornery as I am.
I do have trouble compromising.
I do cherish the love and trust of a child.
I do sleep through five alarms every morning.
I do want to learn how to sail.
I do want to learn how to scuba dive.
I do want to learn how to surf… my father, brother, and sister all surf.
I do want to learn basic car mechanic skills.
I do wear socks with my Birkenstock Bostons everyday.
I do get tongue-tied.
I do love thunderstorms.
I do love lifting weights but rarely ever go to the gym.
I do love sitting on my porch, while the sun is setting, with a tall drink and a good book.
I do love the sight of fresh foot prints on a golf course in the early morning dew.
I do own an XBOX but only allow myself to play when I’m not taking classes.
I do know that I don’t know everything. Everyday I go to work, I rediscover exactly how much I don’t know.
I do love playing pool but can rarely find someone who can go shot for shot with me.
I do love playing backgammon, with my best friend the Accountant, on a back porch while we keep score on the sliding glass doors using dry-erase markers.
I do listen to NPR more often than any other radio station.
I do love wearing black t-shirts with a brown belt and brown sandals.
I do want to settle down and raise a family, just not yet.
I do love black and white photography.
I do still have moments of innocent naiveté.
I do find it difficult to open up to people.
I don’t feel comfortable in crowds.
I don’t do drugs and will not associate with anyone who does.
I don’t function in the morning without coffee.
I don’t watch scary movies.
I don’t ride roller coasters.
I don’t understand organized religion.
I don’t break promises.
I don’t like public speaking.
I don’t have any tattoos.
I don’t like dress shoes.
I don’t dance.
I don’t tolerate ignorance.
I don’t play musical instruments, though I wish I could.
I don’t speak another language; I do have a limited vocabulary in a few.
I don’t like to fly but I do love to travel.
I don’t ever want to go skydiving.
I don’t drink enough water.
I don’t break the law.
I have been in love.
I have a family who loves and supports me.
I have lost family members to cancer and old age.
I have lost friends to tragic accidents.
I have friends who love me unconditionally.
I have been depressed.
I have been scared.
I have quit.
I have been brave.
I have doubted myself.
I have worn sneakers with full-length gowns.
I have been so poor that I painted a house for food.
I have gone skinny-dipping.
I have a three-mistake maximum at work; if I make three mistakes in one day then it is time to go home.
I have started to learn the art of manipulating glass with a hydrogen torch, even if it is only stuff for work, it is still pretty cool.
I have a horrible memory.
I have been humbled.
I have walked away from numerous fights.
I have verbally browbeaten someone who deserved it, but then felt bad about it later.
I have stood up for myself.
I have stood up for those weaker and or less fortunate than myself.
