Arlene (the first named storm of the hurricane season) is projected to bypass us. I am thankful for that, as I haven’t gotten around to prepping for hurricane season yet. Even though the storm is projected to bypass us, we are still going to get quite a bit of rain over the next few days. I have plenty of work to keep me busy and inside this weekend so I’m not too worried about it.

I do regret that I will be unable to attend a friend’s birthday party; she is holding it out of town. I was notified of the celebration plans after I had agreed to dog sit for Xander and Griffin’s family for the weekend.
