We are leaving for Conference Town midday tomorrow. We are all running around, trying to get last minute things done. Our major prof wants samples running while we are gone. Heaven forbid the lab shut down for a few days. So we are trying to find stopping points in some projects and trying to get a handle on others. I was here until after 10 last night which means that I didn’t get any of the chores at home done that need attention before I leave. I am also trying to upload new data and a few papers onto my laptop so I can start analyzing the data while we are gone. My project still isn’t working and I need to figure out why. As I will not be presenting at this conference, I will have plenty of time to play around with the data to see if I can come to any new conclusions.
So I have to get samples into a furnace this morning and I have to take other samples out of the furnaces tonight, and process them. The afternoon time will be spent running errands, doing laundry, and packing…
On a sidenote, I’ve been drinking slurpees every day and now I have six free song credits to my itunes account. I need to download music today… suggestions are appreciated.

Try something by Beth Orton, I have one CD and it's strangely attractive. I just ordered the Black Eyed Peas, though.
My suggestions:
Anything by Lords of Acid,
Anything by Sonique,
Champagne and Reefer by Muddy Waters,
Cows with guns by Dana Lyons,
Born to Fly by Sara Evans
